Accuracy
We describe plumbing systems, failure modes and repair methods as they are commonly understood in the trade and documented by manufacturers, plumbing codes and public agencies. Where something varies by location, such as permits, code requirements or who owns a sewer lateral, we say so rather than state a single rule.
Local information
Local pages are based on widely documented local conditions: climate patterns, soil characteristics, water hardness reported by utilities, typical construction and housing age. We do not invent local facts to make a page look unique. If we can’t say something genuinely local, we don’t publish the page.
No fabricated signals
We don’t publish testimonials, star ratings, review counts, prices, response times, awards or credentials unless they are real and verifiable. We do not use fake scarcity or countdown timers.
Prices
We explain cost factors instead of quoting national prices, because plumbing costs vary widely by region, access and the condition of the system.
Authorship and review
Guides are written by the Plumber Hammers editorial team. We only list a named author or technical reviewer when that person genuinely wrote or reviewed the content and their credentials can be verified.
Dates
Each guide shows its publication date. We add an “updated” date only after a substantive change, never to make a page look fresher.
Corrections
If you find an error, call the number on this site and let us know. We review reported issues and correct pages where needed.
Images
Photos on this site are licensed stock photography (Unsplash License), credited on the page. They illustrate plumbing topics and are never presented as jobs completed by Plumber Hammers or any provider. Before/after sliders pair two different stock photos and are labeled as example comparisons.
